Cordula Rock is a German artist originally from Munich who approached painting not only with great pathos and expressive passion but also with an impetuous vivacity of the pictorial gesture. Chromaticism is a very significant aspect in the artistic production of the German author: it is characterized by an immediate and spontaneous application of color with an extraordinarily engaging effect. From an emotional point of view, in fact, the works of art signed Cordula Rock appear as deflagrations of the soul, explosions of light where the inner spirit tells its story. In the painting "Reihe. Liebe, opus 1" the spirit and the inner conflict are the undisputed protagonists of the canvas dedicated to the theme of love and its facets and vulnerabilities.

Matter represents another characterizing element of her artistic research: it is in close dialogue with color in sign abstraction and it is the matter itself that emphasizes the pathos in her paintings. Strong emotions spread with every coloristic impetus, almost in a conflict of almost liquid passions. It is the battle of color in matter that with visual urgency expresses the cry of human existence, its tensions between pain and joy.
In the work entitled “Adventure by night” this bellicose game is very evident and pressing, but it is in the canvas called “Weite” that reality becomes the essence of a deflagrating universal breadth.
In “Blute im Scheiler” we find a binary language on the border between instinct and reason, between light and disturbance.
Cordula Rock has a degree in Law and also obtained a doctorate. She has exhibited in many cities with an artistic career of international value.
