FALZONE ARTE CONTEMPORANEA promotes art in any form of creative expression to raise public awareness. Our goals are:

  • Promote the spread of culture and art by enhancing emerging talents in any artistic field;
  • Organize artistic initiatives at a national and international level;
  • Organize fairs, art exhibitions, editorial projects, events and meetings
  • Carry out consultancy and collaboration activities with institutions, associations, private individuals and other subjects who intend to develop initiatives to support artistic and cultural promotion;
  • Present itself as a meeting and aggregation place in the name of cultural interests fulfilling the social function of human and civil maturation and growth, through the ideal of artistic education;
  • Carry out competitions, demonstrations, research, seminars and events on art and culture;
  • Position itself as a point of reference and/or as a service structure for companies, businesses and in general for public and private entities in its institutional mission;
  • Promote specific innovation projects for fruition.

We operate in Italy and abroad, also through the stipulation of specific agreements, participation in other associations, companies or entities with similar or related purposes to our own.
Our objective is extended to all artists who wish to perform or exhibit their works, to critics, journalists, curators, publishers, enthusiasts, gallery owners and the public, as well as to all those who, interested in achieving the objectives mentioned above, share the spirit and ideals.

Dr. SABRINA FALZONE

ART CRITIC AND HISTORIAN
Sabrina Falzone graduated in Art History at the Faculty of Humanities of the University La Sapienza of Rome with a thesis entitled "The mythological-chivalric paintings of Francesco Furini", contributing to the reconstruction of the social context of the first half of the seventeenth century in Florence.
She completed her internship with Prof. Claudia Cieri Via, full professor of History of Art Criticism, for Iconographic Recognition and for the Iconos Project (Rome, La Sapienza University, 2004). In the university environment, she cooperated in the Seminar of Modern Art History “The Myth of Leonardo da Vinci artist and scientist” with her research on Leonardo da Vinci’s Bacchus, of which she was a speaker at the course of studies in Social History of Art (Rome, La Sapienza University, 2004).
She held conferences on art history at the Museo Civico Arte Contemporanea in Albissola Marina on the theme “Territory, Art and Future” (2009) and at Palazzo Roverella in Ferrara on the theme “Contemporary art from America to Europe at the Gateway to the East” for the IV International Art Biennial of the City of Ferrara (2008).
She was elected as a member of the examining committee of the art competitions "Premio Internazionale Il Segno" together with Prof. Rossana Bossaglia and Prof. Paolo Levi (Milan, 2009), of the "Premio Art Style" (Milan, 2009), of the "Premio di Fotografia Vanetti" (Turin, 2008) and of the "Premio Internazionale d'Arte Barberart. Suggestioni Rosso Rubino" at the Foro Boario organized by the Piedmont Region, the Province of Asti and the Municipality of Nizza Monferrato (2008); of the "Fomenar" Award (2016)
She was elected as a member of the examining committee of the art competitions "Un cuore d'Artista" receiving a mention of merit (Castelbuono, 2019); She was President of the Jury of the International Competition "Un Cuore d'Artista" (Castelbuono, 2020).

In journalism, she has written for national and international publications such as European Art Magazine, Report On Line, Ok Arte and Whipart, where she was Head of Editorial Service and Editor for 6 years, supervising the proofreading for the publication of journalistic articles.
She received the Whipart Award from the MBO plan and joined the Italian Society of Authors and Publishers (2006). She won the First Literary Prize in the “Come vorrei il tuo quartiere” competition organized by the Municipality of Rome, awarded to her directly by Senator Athos De Luca (1994).


ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
From 2016 to 2019, she directed the Studio Galleria Sabrina Falzone in Milan, in the Corso Sempione area, Via Paolo Lomazzo 55 with a window on Via Monviso 16/N03, dedicating all her sacrifices to it, but she registered it in the name of her daughter Clarissa's father, who changed its initial intended use on the "occasion" of the marital crisis.
From 2011 to 2016 Sabrina Falzone directed the Spazio Museale dedicated to contemporary art and located in the center of Milan (Via Pallavicino) in the setting of a twentieth-century building protected by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities.
From 2009 to 2011 she directed the gallery Il Borgo di Milano, in Corso San Gottardo, located in the lively Navigli district.

EXHIBITION CURATOR
Thanks to a competent organizational team, the exhibitions curated by Sabrina Falzone are set up in the most suggestive exhibition venues in Europe.
A freelancer, her commitment is aimed at the valorization of the contemporary artistic heritage and its dissemination both through her essayistic activity and through the curation of art exhibitions of contemporary authors and historical artists of the caliber of Salvatore Fiume.
She was a guest on the television program "Sos Notte" broadcast on ALICE after the Maurizio Costanzo Show, hosted by Raffaello Tonon and Fanny Cadeo in Rome (7.06.2006). She gave an interview to the editorial staff of TV SAT 2000 on the occasion of the Vernissage of "Dreams and Transparencies of the Female Universe" in the Palazzo Spinola di San Luca in Genoa (2.03.2008).
